  Underwhelmed. Maybe it was because we went on a Tuesday which is the first day they are open after 2 days off. For $16 we had the Key West pink shrimp appetizer - a bit rubbery and a only 10 shrimp. For $31 each we also had the Black Grouper, grilled, and the Red Snapper, blackened. Both were on the dry side and the grouper was a little under seasoned. The side of rice and beans and the other of coleslaw were not bad, but for the price I expected better. Also I would not recommend sitting outside - the tables are near the sewer which smells, well, of sewage.

  Waltz, not many places like Waltz still exist , Fresh fish !
  Family owned,
  When they are out of fish they are closed.
  Charming little cottage converted into a local seafood restaurant , you cannot compare any other experience with Waltz, if you don’t appreciate what they do then go down the beach and eat somewhere else.
  Fresh fish means the fish was caught, and served within a few days max, same day in most cases.
  Only a few establishments serve fish in this manner.
  Most places serve frozen fish, Cisco fish etc, most places.
  So if you like casual atmosphere , A nautical whimsy key west style, kinda set in their ways ownership that serves fresh local catch cooked and prepared the way they think that particular species of fish should be spiced and served married too the slaw or salad they suggest.
  and your willing to pay for this rare treatment and all of it’s working parts, then Waltz is a must.
  The rest of you out of town fools go buy your dinner in some tourist trap.
